Location.The Kent is a restored Art Deco hotel in the South Beach area of Miami Beach, Fla. Hotel Features. Originally built in 1936, the Kent has been refurbished to a dazzling and capricious masterpiece. The lobby's original mahogany accents and classic terrazzo floors have been well maintained, while the new furnishings and details explode in an array of colors.
